We liked the location, the art work and the bed.
They were doing renovations right outside our door during our stay. Someone was literally sanding the door jam while we were trying to sleep. And the renovations made the hotel look cheap. Also, the air-con was broken when the temp reached the high 30s during our stay.
Decor Staff Style Comfort Space Location Fantastic Shower
Careful about the parking lots nearby.
No Lift Size of the room It looks a little tired
Comfort of the room and the amenities provided. Appealing decor throughout the building. Location - handy to everything.
Bouncing our suitcases all the way up the stairs to Room 302 Question 3 in this Review doesn't make sense - strange selection of words!
No hot water to have a shower and ridiculous size of the bathroom for the price of the room - no offer of a voucher for no hot water either
Eclectic decor. 24 hour reception. Cheap secure parking arranged by the hotel close by. This is not a plush hotel but is comfortable and good value for money. Booked a room away from the road because of previous reviews but if I stayed there again I would take a front room as the street noise dies down around 10pm.
We really werent unhappy with any feature.
location of hotel was perfect for both beach and city. The bed was really comfortable. Room was very clean. Although balcony room is noisy due to it's street front location we loved the hustle and bustle and people watching. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Could do with more storage for clothing as we only had a narrow wardrobe for two and there was not drawers which the room was big enough to accommodate.
Close proximity to spirit of Tasmania pier
No onsite parking, no lift.
Unclean, rooms were tiny! Promised 'city views' however I hardly call the second story looking towards shops on the other side of the road city views. Absolutley appauling. 3X cockroaches in the bathroom upon arrival. Unable to sit on balcony as too loud. &Amp; too add to injury, the room above us was heard, ie. Conversation & running from side to side!! For a weekend getaway, we stayed until 10pm then left. What a waste of my well earnt money!!!!
tolarno hotel was excellent, great service from all areas, unfortuneatly did not get to eat at their restaurant as their are so many just outside the doorstep to choose from, will gladly stay again
Helpful & friendly staff, a quirky sort of hotel, simple small rooms but with eberything you need, don't worry about no breakfast there are pleanty of excellent cafes nearby. Also lots of trams to CBD. Good value.
Can't think of anything!
I loved the art on display. The staff were helpful and nice.
The shower was terrible. Could not adjust to a reasonable temperature.
Beautiful hotel with unique, inspiring atmosphere. Great for relaxing. Excellent location.
The location was a close walk to St Kilda beach & off a tram stop
- They put one less bed in the room that agreed for & paid for & refused to budge & would only fix it for an extra $150 a night!!! - More cramped than the pictures. - Things were broken & not working all over the room. - Earlier checkout at 10am. - For an executive suite we were below ground level which caused our paying more to have cold shower water & constant loud walking on the above stairs.
Nice staff. Well furnished and and outfitted. Nice artwork. The location was good.
It was a little noisy at night. Parking was remote.
